Karwar: Aneesh Naik, a meritorious student who excelled in several national and state-level competitive examinations, including the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE), was felicitated at a function jointly organised by Arjun Science Pre-University College, Dharwad, and Bal Mandir High School, Karwar.

Aneesh secured 96% marks in the II PUC examination, achieved an impressive 99.56 percentile in JEE Main, secured All India Rank (AIR) 5,809 in JEE Advanced, and Rank 892 in the Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET). He also obtained AIR 189 in the SOF International Olympiad, secured 10th rank at the zonal level, and qualified the Stage-I examination of the National Defence Academy (NDA), underscoring his consistent academic excellence across a range of competitive examinations.

Speaking on the occasion, Bal Mandir High School Headmistress Anjali Mane praised Aneesh's dedication, discipline and exemplary conduct, saying that his hard work and positive attitude, evident since his school days, had been instrumental in his remarkable achievements. She wished him continued success in his future academic and professional pursuits.

Accepting the felicitation, Aneesh said success in competitive examinations cannot be achieved through last-minute preparation but requires sustained effort, conceptual clarity, disciplined study and proper guidance from teachers. Encouraging younger students to remain focused on their goals, he attributed his success to the unwavering support of his parents, teachers and the Arjun Educational Institutions.

Aneesh is the son of Kadatoka Manju, Uttara Kannada district correspondent for a Kannada news channel, while his mother Shwetha Naik is a teacher.

Among those present were directors of Arjun Educational Institutions, the principal and staff of Bal Mandir High School, parents, students and other dignitaries.
