Bhatkal: A total of 1,371 cases were amicably settled during the Mega Lok Adalat held at the Bhatkal court complex on Saturday, with three Lok Adalat benches disposing of cases through mutual settlement.
The bench attached to the Senior Civil Court, comprising judicial conciliator Judge Roopashree and non-judicial conciliator Nagaratna K. Naik, settled 334 cases.

The Principal Civil Judge and JMFC Court bench, headed by Judge Deepa Aralagundi with Manjunath C. Bhat as non-judicial conciliator, disposed of 464 cases.
The Additional Civil Judge and JMFC Court bench, presided over by Judge Arpita with Shravya V. Naik serving as non-judicial conciliator, settled 573 cases.
The combined disposal of 1,371 cases during the Mega Lok Adalat underscored the continued importance of alternative dispute resolution in ensuring speedy and amicable settlement of disputes.
