In a tragic incident, two sisters were set ablaze by few unknown miscreants late Friday night while they were sleeping in their home in Nawabganj area of Uttar Pradesh's Bareilly district.
The culprits broke into the house, poured petrol on the bed on which both the sisters were sleeping and set them on fire.

Janata Dal(U) Rajya Sabha members today removed Sharad Yadav, who opposed the party's decision to ally with the BJP in Bihar, as their leader in the House and replaced him with R C P Singh, a senior party leader said.

At least 30 children died in the state-run Baba Raghav Das Medical College here during the last 48 hours, district magistrate Rajeev Rautela said today, but gave no reasons for such a large number of deaths.
He said 17 children died in the neo-natal ward, 5 in AES (acute encephalitis syndrome) ward and 8 in the general ward.
