Atiqur Rahman Muniri Elected Chairman of SahilOnline Media; Rahmatullah Rahi Named Second Vice Chairman

Dubai: Atiqur Rahman Muniri, an active director of SahilOnline Media and a Dubai-based businessman and social worker, has been unanimously elected as the new Chairman of SahilOnline Media. Rahmatullah Rahi, a long-serving member of the organization, was elected as the Second Vice Chairman.

The elections were held at a meeting of the Board of Directors in Dubai, where Muniri's name was proposed by Vice Chairman Abdul Mateen Ekkeri and unanimously approved by the board.

With these appointments, the leadership vacuum that had persisted for nearly two years has come to an end, paving the way for the organization to move forward under new leadership with renewed energy and a stronger sense of purpose.

Immediately after the elections, Vice Chairman Abdul Mateen Ekkeri, Managing Director Inayatullah Gawai, and directors Jilani Mohtisham, Afaq Naite, Abdul Salam Damudi and Ubaidullah Askiri congratulated the newly elected office-bearers and assured them of their full support in strengthening the organization.

Speaking after his election, Muniri said he would work closely with all the directors to take SahilOnline Media to new heights. He also announced plans to revive all suspended services within the next six months and said every effort would be made to further strengthen SahilOnline as a leading digital media platform not only in Coastal Karnataka but across Karnataka and, eventually, at the national level.

Rahmatullah Rahi, in his remarks, appealed for continued public support, emphasizing the need for responsible, people-centric journalism that highlights public issues, promotes social justice and gives a voice to the marginalized.
