Bhatkal: A shocking incident has come to light in Murdeshwar, where a toddler who was sleeping alongside his parents has gone missing. Suspecting that the child may have been abducted, a case has been registered at the Murdeshwar Police Station.
According to a complaint lodged by Mrs. Shobha Kumari, a resident of Solapur in Maharashtra, she and her family earn their livelihood by collecting and selling scrap materials and travel from place to place in search of work.
The family had arrived in Murdeshwar about two weeks ago and had been staying in front of a warehouse near the railway station.
As stated in the complaint, after having dinner, Shobha Kumari, her husband, and their young child went to sleep at the spot. She woke up at around 3 a.m. and noticed that the child was still sleeping between them. However, when she woke up again at about 6 a.m., the child was nowhere to be found.
The parents immediately searched the surrounding area but failed to find any trace of the child. Shobha Kumari suspects that an unidentified person may have abducted the child while they were asleep.
Based on the complaint, Murdeshwar Police have registered a case and launched an investigation. Efforts are underway to trace the missing child, and police are probing the matter from all possible angles.
