Kumta: A cigarette packs godown was ransacked by the thieves near Handigon of Kumta.

It is learnt that different types of packed cigarette bundles valued at 4,48,000 Rs and cash amount of 1500 rupees were decamped by the thieves.

The godown belonged to Kiran Manjunath, a resident of Handigon in Kumta.

In this regard, a Case has been registered in Kumta Police station and further investigations are on.
