Bantawal: A grisly road accident reported during the early hours of 26th October, Thursday near Vittala, where a speeding passenger bus turned turtle and dragged to the corner of the road. Fortunately, all the passengers were reported safe after the miraculous escape in the incident.

The bus was heading towards Udupi from Bengaluru at the time of the incident.

Sources informed that the incident occurred when the bus belonging to Sugama travels toppled after the driver lost the control of the vehicle while taking a narrow turn. Only two passengers sustained minor injuries. However, the other passengers managed to come out after breaking the window glasses.

A case has been registered in Vittala police station and investigations are on.
