Udupi: A youth from Bramhavar in Udupi district, named Deekshith (27), currently residing in Bantwal, was arrested by Moodbidri police on Saturday in connection with a reported theft case within the Moodbidri police station limits in Mangaluru.

The arrested  Deekshith, had a gold chain and a mobile phone in his possession, both of which were recovered by the police.

Commissioner of Police Anupam Agrawal revealed that there are pending cases against Deekshith in the police stations of Brahmavar and Manipal.
