    A seven-year-old girl who fell into a swollen river, while crossing a wooden footbridge, was feared drowned at Bijamakki in Kalthodu in Byndoor taluk.  The deceased is Sannidi, daughter of Pradeep and Sumithra of Bolamballi Makkimane and a student of the second standard at Government Primary School in Chapparike.
